Sema Dumanli received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi, Ankara, Turkey, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K., in 2010. She was with Toshiba Research Europe, Bristol, as a Research Engineer and a Senior Research Engineer from 2010 to 2017. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey. Her current research interests include antenna design for body area networks, implantable and wearable devices, eHealth, and multi-in–multi-out communications.

Uzay Bengi received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2020 and currently is an M.Sc. student at Boğaziçi University. He has been a researcher at the Antennas & Propagation Laboratory (BOUNtenna) since 2019 and working as a teaching assistant at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Istanbul, Turkey, since 2021. His current research covers antenna design for body area networks, wearable wireless monitoring systems and implantable devices.

Boğaziçi University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Oğuz Kaan Erden received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, from Istanbul Bilgi University, Istanbul, Turkey and Boğaziçi University Istanbul, Turkey in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He was a member of Microsystems Lab during his B.Sc. degree. He is currently a PhD student at Boğaziçi University, a member of BOUNtenna and AntennaLive, and working as an R&D engineer at a tech start-up GlakoLens AS. His research interests include implantable and wearable antennas, biosensors, biomedical optics, MEMS, and metamaterials.

Çağla Karabulut received her B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from İstanbul Bilgi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2020. During her BSc, she worked on developing low-power wide-area (LPWAN) sensor networks for large scale remote area deployments such as Vodafone Akıllı Köy in Aydın, Turkey. She is currently an M.Sc. student in Electronics at Boğaziçi University and a member of BOUNtenna and AntennAlive since March 2021. Her current research interests include implantable antenna designs for IoHT applications.

Ahmet Bilir is double majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Mathematics at Boğaziçi University. His expected graduation year is 2023. He is currently working on biodegradable sensor design in Bountenna.

Anıl Tülü is currently studying electrical and electronics engineering at Boğaziçi University. He joined the BOUNTENNA Lab in June 2022, and his expected graduation year is 2024. He is currently working on UWB antenna design and radiation pattern measurement setup for anechoic chamber.
